Mmmm Pie

This week, Sarah and Julie discuss the power of pie. They were happy to catch a screening of the independent film, Waitress, that included a Q&A with one of the film's producers, Michael Roiff, and actress Cheryl Hines. The girls discuss the tragedy that surrounds the movie because of the death of its writer/director Adrienne Shelly. A foundation has subsequently set up in her name to help up & coming female filmmakers. Sarah & Julie warn listeners that upon watching the movie, Waitress, one may find him or herself craving pie. So, to help satiate that craving, the two Brunettes remind LA dwellers of the yummy House of Pies. So, grab a fork, some ala mode, and as always enjoy the SHOW!!!

So, it's Thursday...

Are you already itching for some weekend fun?

Are you craving that after work cocktail? Want to see some of your favorite internet content creators up close and personal?
Tonight, The Daily Reel is hosting their second content creator "meet up" this time at the Short Stop in Echo Park.

Maybe you're more in the mood for some laughs, but still want to see some live weblebrities.
Then, check out the 5th Annual Los Angeles Improv Comedy Festival when tonight at 8pm, the Ask A Ninja ninja performs live.

Perhaps you fancy some music instead and you didn't have a chance to check out Bryan Greenberg perform at The Mint last week. Well he's back for an encore performance at 9pm tonight. Reserve a table for prime seating and yummy eats.

Now, go eat, drink, and be merry!
