Having met Blonde years ago in a fledgling girl group, Candace describes what the journey has been like developing a solo career in music. She shares her inspirations as well as the challenges she has faced trying maintain her musical style and integrity in an industry eager to manufacture and manage artists. After having decided to pursue her career independently, Candace recounts stories of how a little charm and a lot of determination have opened doors for her. Now, celebrating her success with a soon to be released album, "Believe", Candace shares a song she intends to be her first single “Kissed You Again.” As a bonus, she also shares “Won’t You Try” a little ditty she recorded to set the mood of her album. Oscars Wrap-up

This week, Blonde and Brunette wrap-up the Hollywood award season with their assessment of the Academy Awards. The girls discuss the Tisch “Pre-Oscar” party they attended at director Brett Ratner’s home. Congratulating Academy Award winners Ang Lee, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and John Canemaker, Blonde and Brunette find inspiration in this year’s awards. Hoping to one day accept an Oscar together, the girls devise a plan of how to get to the stage and thank everyone before the orchestra plays them off. They also share the little known celebrity secret that the best place to keep your awards is with your chips and beer. Keeping with the cinematic theme, this week’s musical interlude courtesy of the podsafe music network is “Cinema Shuffle” by Tangential Cold. So...hang up your tuxedo, put away your thank you speech, and crack open a cold one as you enjoy another SHOW!!!

A struggling actress living and working in Los Angeles, Kate shares how a natural knack for acting and a desire to be Maid Marion inspired her to try her hand in Hollywood. Proving, however, that it takes more than talent, Kate describes the unique way she managed to get her SAG card. Discussing headshots, auditions, and disappointment in the industry, Sandy, Sarah, and Kate each offer their experiences as actors in LA. Kate reveals her belief that passion and perserverance are the keys to success in this town, but acquiring a good skill to help pay the bills while you wait for your next big role never hurt either.
