guest: Seth Beeler
This week, Nontourage celebrates Halloween with guest Seth Beeler and guest host Michael Garber. Explaining how his early roots in magic and love for Penn & Teller lead him to comedy, Seth provides an inside look into the life of a Hollywood stand-up comedian. Appropriately for this show, Seth also shares his not so secret passion for horror movies revealing celebrity encounters with Bruce Campbell and David Schow. Sharing blurry childhood memories of watching bizarre Saturday afternoon movies with wacky TV hosts and referencing reviewer Joe Bob Briggs, Seth and Brunette agree that there is virtue in a good B-movie. Whether he is divulging the secret to escaping from a straightjacket or that working at the UPS store provides for excellent Hollywood networking, Seth recounts amusing tales from his life on and off stage.
Keeping with the Halloween theme, this week's musical interlude is "LA Nightmare" provided by .22 courtesy of the podsafe music network. Finally, as a last minute recommendation for Halloween festivities, Seth suggests LA's Dearly Departed Tours. Nontourage hopes everyone has a wonderfully spooky Halloween. Enjoy the SHOW!!!
